before proceed on other aspects lets talk about the man who is extraordinary and proves himself one of the best director in GEN-NEXT .

Imtiaz Ali has been able to extract mind blowing performance from all actors, especially Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir has proved once again that he is an awesome actor. Ranbir has been able to pull off the role with aplomb. He will be remembered always for his extraordinary performance in Rockstar

IMTIAZ ALI

after directing some daily soap on small screen he move to Bollywood with SOCHA NA THA in 2005.
directed four movies with Eight stars and was there one of finest performance of their career.
Abhay deol and Ayesha takia in Socha na tha [2005]
Shahid kappor and Kareena kapoor in Jab we met [2007] [ directed and written by IA ]
Saif ali khan and Deepika padukone in  "Love aaj kal"  [2009]

and now he is continuing the same with ROCKSTAR. Ranbir kappor's never forgettable character JORDAN [ Janardan Jakhad] . surely one of the best performance this year.

Rockstar Review: Star Performances

Ranbir Kapoor does an extraordinary job. His acting is excellent and it wouldn’t be incorrect to say that he has lived the role of Janardhan/Jordan. He has played the simpleton, the passionate lover, and the rockstar with aplomb. His is indeed an award-winning performance and one which takes him to the next level. From his innocence in the opening reels to his arrogance in the climax, Ranbir breathes life into Jordan and keeps you riveted. Whether he adlibs his songs, gives a dance-tribute to Shammi Kapoor or dictates the concert crowd,  Ranbir gives cent percent to his character.

Nargis Fakhri makes a very promising debut. She looks pretty and does an confident job [taking the fact that before this movies she doesn't even know a single word of Hindi or Bollywood and even superstar Amitabh bachchcan [extracts of her own words]  . She would qualify for awards for the best debut.

Rockstar Review: Direction & Music

Imtiaz Ali’s direction is just superb in single word. But his narrative style is of a kind which will be loved by the youth, liked by the elite and not appreciated too much by the audience of the single-screen cinemas and small centers.
A.R. Rahman’s music comprises some hit numbers and some which are not too easy on the lips but many of them are very appealing songs.
Irshad Kamil’s lyrics are rich and wonderful.
Anil Mehta’s cinematography is extraordinary. one of the strong fact to watch Rockstar.
Editing, by Aarti Bajaj, is very different in style from what one is used to seeing.
Production values are grand.

The movie is set in the heart of rural India in the village of Peepli. Natha (Omkar Das Manikpuri) is a poor pot-smoking farmer making endless efforts to pay off his government loan, which eventually results in the risk of losing his land. His problem is similar to one of the many thousand farmers who commit suicide every year due to their inability to pay back the debt. Natha learns about the compensation that the government pays to the families of indebted deceased farmers. The amount rounds up to 100 thousand rupees. Worth giving a try, huh! What’s more! Natha’s brother urges him to move ahead, while he is still reluctant and puzzled.
The saga is just the beginning of what Natha had least expected. Word moves out with media, politicians, high-ranking bureaucrats and local henchmen pouring in and turning Natha’s case into a frenzied spectacle. The drama that Natha had thought of to support his family has now turned into an economic engine transforming Peepli into a media boomtown. The only question that everyone asks is “Will he or won’t he?” Everyone is keyed up to know the fate of Natha with no one bothered about what he actually feels. With a huge star cast, every character contributes his share of broad comedy into this satirical flick.
‘Peepli [Live]’ tries to tackle some of the real-life problems of farmer suicides in the rural parts of India. The land ownership problems have been portrayed in a very humorous and witty fashion. The music is unlike any typical Bollywood album. The robust mix of different songs is sure to connect with the audience immediately. The movie contains all the ingredients required to attract audiences towards it: bouncy soundtrack music, energetic cutting and a strong sense of place.

The Expendables
The Expendables is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things arent quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers.

Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) is a man with nothing to lose. Fearless and void of emotion, he is the leader, the sage and the strategist of this tight-knit band of men who live on the fringe. His only attachment is to his pickup truck, his seaplane and his team of loyal modern-day warriors. His is a true cynic who describes what he does as removing those hard to get at stains. The team behind him is made up of Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), former SAS and a savant with anything that has a blade; Yin Yang (Jet Li), a master at close-quarter combat; Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), who has known Barney for ten years and is a long-barrel weapons specialist; Toll Road (Randy Couture), a skilled demolitions expert and considered the intellect of the group; and Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), a combat veteran and an expert in precision sniping who struggles with his own demons.

When the mysterious Church offers Barney a job no one else would take, Barney and his team embark on what appears to be a routine mission: overthrow General Gaza (David Zayas), the murderous dictator of the small island country of Vilena and end the years of death and destruction inflicted on its people. On a reconnaissance mission to Vilena, Barney and Christmas meet their contact Sandra (Giselle Itie), a local freedom-fighter with a dark secret. They also come to learn who their true enemy is: rogue ex-CIA operative James Monroe (Eric Roberts) and his henchman Paine (Steve Austin). When things go terribly wrong, Barney and Christmas are forced to leave Sandra behind, essentially giving her a death sentence. Haunted by this failure, Barney convinces the team to return to Vilena to rescue the hostage and finish the job he started. And to perhaps save a soul: his own.
